Aayush Sharma Opens Up About Facing Criticism For Marrying Arpita Khan Sharma; Expresses People Still Call Him Salman Khan Ka Jija
Aayush Sharma is one of the actors who has faced criticism from the public before even making his debut in Bollywood. The two-film-year old has time and again been brutally trolled for not only marrying Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma but also for starring in movies produced by Bhaijaan, making him a product of nepotism.

During a recent media interaction, the Loveyatri actor opened up about facing endless trolls and how he is still trying to find his footing in the industry. He recalled that people started trolling him and started making up theories about his identity and the reason behind his marrying Arpita. He said, "The next day after I got married, the first thing I see is that I and my wife are getting trolled for getting married. Some said I got married because I wanted money. Some said I married her because I wanted to be an actor." He went on to share that some had even speculated that he was a businessman from Delhi.

He shared that with time he has started getting over the hurtful comments by the trolls, but the one thing he can’t put behind him is being called ‘Salman Khan ka jija.’ His confidence took a hit after listening to and reading all the hurtful comments targeted at him. He went on to share that people judged his performance and his movies because he is Salman Khan’s brother-in-law.

While he agrees that he didn’t have to struggle like an outsider, saying that he is a ‘byproduct of nepotism’ isn’t right. He said, "I am not a star kid. I am just in the wrong place at the wrong time."

On the work front, Aayush Sharma was last seen in Antim: The Final Truth alongside Salman Khan in 2021. The movie was an official remake of the Marathi hit film Mulshi Pattern.
