A few days back,
news of Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid facing an audience and showcasing his
acting skills came out.
And yesterday was
the special day when Aamir’s little prince made his acting debut on the stage.
But besides this, another highlight of the event were the guests who came to
watch Junaid’s play.

was there to support his son not only with wife Kiran Rao but also present with
them was Fatima Sana Shaikh.
Thugs Of
Hindostan had grabbed eyeballs for its casting. Since the time it was made
official that Fatima will share screen space with Aamir Khan yet again after
Dangal for YRF’s Thugs Of Hindostan, whispers started doing the rounds that the
lady has bagged the project because of Aamir Khan’s recommendation.

Post that, at an
event, when media had asked Kiran about the rumours afloat that Aamir helped
Fatima get the role in Thugs Of Hindostan, Kiran had sternly replied saying,
“We don’t deal with casting. Aamir, Adi and Victor decided the casting so they
must have given it a good thought because it’s a big film. There has to be
merit or else they wouldn’t take risk with such a big film.”
Well yes, Kiran
defended Fatima and also stood up for her husband’s decision of casting Shaikh
in the film.

Coming back to
Junaid, the young actor played various characters, most prominently, that of
Mother Courage's son called Swameed, a man who has many virtues but is limited
by his naivete. The play is directed by Quasar Thakore Padamsee.
If you missed
watching it, the play will be staged at St. Andrews Auditorium on September
9 and 10.
