From Ranbir Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, Nikki Tamboli, Manoj Bajpayee to Tara Sutaria, many tested positive for COVID-19. The recent one to join the list is Aamir Khan. Yes, Aamir Khan has tested positive for Coronavirus. The actor's rep issued a statement and revealed that the actor is currently at home in self-quarantine. He is following all the protocols and is also doing fine.
The statement reads, "Mr Aamir Khan has tested positive for COVID-19. He is at home in self-quarantine, following all the protocols and he's doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern."
Just a few days ago, Aamir Khan celebrated his birthday. A day post his birthday, Aamir Khan took everyone by surprise when he announced his exit from social media. Talking about it, he told paparazzi, "Main apni dhunki mein rehta hu. Social media mein hu kahan main toh mujhe laga waise bhi kuch daalta nahi hu main, apni dhunki mein rehta hu (I live in my own world and have no presence on social media. I don't even post anything)"
On the work front, Aamir Khan will be seen opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan in Laal Singh Chaddha. As many are aware, Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi adaptation of the American film Forrest Gump that starred Tom Hanks and Robin Wright in the lead. Earlier, Laal Singh Chaddha's posters created a huge buzz on social media. Fans are beyond excited for the upcoming film.
