Aamir Khan Suffers Knee Injury During Long-Running Shooting Sequence For Laal Singh Chaddha; Actor Completed The Shoot By Taking Pain Killers
There is a reason why Aamir Khan is called the perfectionist of Bollywood and he truly deserves this title. The actor is known to go to extra lengths to get into the skin of his roles and for his next Laal Singh Chaddha, Khan has left no stone unturned to perfect his role. But do you know while shooting for a long-running sequence, he injured his knee? Yes, you read that right! Aamir sustained a knee injury because of running for a long time. In fact, despite his injury, he did not give up.

A source close to the development revealed that Aamir, who plays a titular role in the movie, pushed his limitations while shooting for this sequence. It is being said that the one scene in the film required the PK actor to shoot the long-running sequence. While doing so, his knee was injured, and he was undergoing physiotherapy. Yet, despite all the odds Aamir continued the sequence as he was constantly on painkillers to avoid the pain.

Interestingly, the reason why Aamir decided to continue the shoot despite being in pain was not to delay Laal Singh Chaddha. The film has already been getting postponed and delayed due to the pandemic so the actor did not want to delay the shoot of this long sequence any further. The insider added that while it was very mentally taxing and challenging for the 57-year-old actor to do the sequence despite his knee injury, he didn't give up and gave his best shots.
