Recently, there were reports which mentioned that Aamir Khan will be shedding about 20kg for is role in Lal Singh Chaddha and has been on a vegan diet because of it. However, that doesn’t stop the actor from making late-night visits at his mother Zeenat’s home to gorge on his favourite kebabs! While talking to Mid Day, a source close to Aamir Khan said, “Aamir has adopted a special protein-heavy diet that consists of steamed or baked vegetables, greens, tofu, lentils, and multigrain roti. The diet has been so rigorous that the superstar started craving some of his favourite foods. So, over the past few weeks, he has been making midnight trips to his mother’s house, which is a stone’s throw away from his Bandra residence, to gorge on kebabs prepared by her. Keeping Aamir’s diet in mind, his mother has now started making diet-friendly vegan kebabs. She stocks her fridge with them so that the actor can help himself whenever he pleases.”

Aamir Khan was last seen in Thugs Of Hindostan and the film did not receive a great response. Lal Singh Chaddha is written by Atul Kulkarni and is helmed by Advait Chandan. The movie is slated to hit the theatres during Christmas.
