Aamir: I Wont Be Able To Do The Jackie Chan Film

Following Aamir Khan’s visit to China for the release of PK, there were reports that Aamir Khan and Jackie Chan will be sharing screen space in Kung Fu Yoga. The film was reportedly a part of the 3-film deal commissioned under an agreement that was made between the two countries. The Chinese film regulating body, Xinhua, had even sent out a press release to this effect.

However, contrary to these reports, Aamir told us that he wont be able to do the Indo-Chinese film. Reason? The actor has his date diary full till June next year.

The actor told us, “Kung Fu Yoga is a film that Jackie is planning with director Stanley Tong. But its not possible for me to do this film. I would have liked to do it.”

Elaborating further on the subject, he said, They are shooting the film in September-October this year. And I am doing Dangal all through October to December. Then in January, Ill lose weight and shoot for the younger portion of Dangal. So Ill complete the film only in June. I can do any film only after August next year. I cant ask them to wait for so long. They are starting now.

Well, according to the actors statement, he is no longer a part of the film. We believe Aamir. Keep watching this space for more updates on Kung Fu Yoga.
