Vidya Balan starrer Sherni's trailer was released today. It received an amazing response from the audience and many are looking forward to watching the film. The actress will be seen essaying the role of an IFS officer tracking down a man-eating tigress on the loose. Vidya Balan's remarkable performance in the trailer is winning hearts. As many are talking about the movie and complimenting Vidya for taking up such a challenging role, one social media user recently spotted a similarity between Sherni's poster and The Lion King.

In the Instagram post, a user by the name of notwhyral pointed out how the poster in which Vidya Balan to be looking at the footstep of the tigress on the loose holds resemblance with Simba's iconic footstep scene. Simba in The Lion King places his paw into the imprint of that of his father's and realizes how he is a part of something bigger and decides to protect the wildlife. 

Apart from Vidya Balan, Sherni also stars Sharad Saxena, Mukul Chaddha, Vijay Raaz, Ila Arun, Brijendra Kala, and Neeraj Kabi in key roles. The movie is all set to release on June 18 on Amazon Prime Video. Sharing the trailer of the film Vidya wrote, '#SherniTrailerOut Be courageous. Be strong. Be fearless. It's time for the #Sherni to roar!' Gajraj Rao commented saying, 'Brilliant'. One Instagram user wrote, 'You are Incredible,' another user wrote, 'Wow can't wait... much-needed movie in today's times of increasing human-wildlife conflict.'
The actress was last seen in Shakuntala Devi. The film also starred Sanya Malhotra, Amit Sadh and Jisshu Sengupta in supporting roles. The movie performed well.
