As the release of ‘83 inches closer by the day, the makers are releasing first look posters from the most awaited sports drama while raising the excitement quotient. First, we were completely bowled over Ranveer Singh’s look as Kapil Dev when he shared a still picture of his look where he is seen posing the ‘natraj pose’ on the picture. Ranveer completely made us believe that just like his other roles, he will rock this film as well. Soon after which, we were treated by his batsman’s first look including Tahir Raj Bhasin as Sunil Gavaskar, Saqib Saleem as Mohinder Amarnath, Jiiva as Srikkanth and Jatin Sarna as Yashpal Sharma. Today, the makers have released the first look of Chirag Patil who will be essaying the Indian cricketer Sandeep Patil – Sandy Storm.

 Ironically, Chirag Patil plays his father Sandeep Patil in this Ranveer and Deepika Padukone starrer and yes, we can’t wait to see how he scores a six in this film. While sharing the first look, the makers have introduced him as the hard-hitting batsman who could destroy the opposition. Now that they have already revealed 5 batsman’s first look, we can't wait to see the rest. This sports drama is based on India's victory at the 1983 Cricket World Cup. The film will see him essaying the role of former Indian skipper Kapil Dev and his wife Deepika Padukone who would be playing his on-screen wife too as Romi Bhatia. Kabir Khan's directorial film also stars Boman Irani and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles.
