The 67th National Film Awards took place at New Delhi on Monday. Actors Manoj Bajpayee, Kangana Ranaut, Dhanush were among the few big winners at the event. Late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s film Chhichhore also won the Best Hindi film award. The awards were presented to the winners by the President of India, to films and artistes for their performances. They were honoured with awards for films of the year 2019. Meanwhile, the event was organised by the Directorate of Film Festivals, which comes under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The ceremony was scheduled to take place in May last year, however, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the event was delayed.
