On Sunday eveining, the makers re-released the trailer of the film with an updated title and release date. Padmaavat Banned In Gujarat
Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been in turmoiled waters ever since he began working on the film. From disruptions on sets during the filming to Karni Sena vandalising theatres when the first trailer of the film was released, things have not been easy for SLB. Padmaavat hits theatres on January 25, and it will face competition from Akshay Kumar's Padman.
The Central Board of Film Certification is commonly known, cleared the film last month, but had asked the makers to introduce several modifications, including a change in the name to Padmaavat -- a literary work by the 16th Century poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi, on which the film is said to be based.
