4 Unknown Facts About The Not So Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives
Here are some unknown facts about the recently released web series, The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives, starring Maheep Kapoor, Seema Khan, Bhavna Pandey and Neelam Kothari
While housewives, the target audience for the show, might be hungrily lapping up the designer emotions of The Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives (wasn’t Madhur Bhandarkar conned into believing the title was being changed?), there are some facts about the show, which many are not aware of. We bring to you some of them:
1. The original idea was to get high-profile star wives like Gauri Khan (Mrs Shah Rukh Khan), Malaika Arora (Salman Khan’s former sister-in-law) and Tahira Kashyap (Mrs Ayushman Khurrana). But these wives, apparently, declined the generous offer.
2. The four star-wives who were finally selected are not the great pals they are shown to be. Some of them barely know each other. Others meet socially. But that’s it.
3. Maheep and Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya is being groomed for a film career. Shanaya’s appearance in her Mom’s extended hen-party with her so-called friends was Karan Johar’s idea. It was the enterprising Johar who suggested that Shanaya making her maiden appearance in Bollywood Wives besides her cousin Janhvi Kapoor could be just the introduction that Shanaya needs.
4. Many portions of the series such as the one where Neelam is stalked in Doha or where the Bollywood wives fight in Karan Johar’s presence did not take place in their real lives.
