On 13th anniversary of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, Akshay Kumar pens a heartfelt note, remembering all those who sacrificed their lives safeguarding Mumbai
As India observes the 13th anniversary of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks today- 26th November, several Bollywood celebrities have paid tributes to the martyrs. Akshay Kumar took to his social media handles to pay his heartfelt tribute and remembered all brave hearts who lost their lives while safeguarding Mumbai. For the unversed, On November 26, 2008, 10 Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists from Pakistan arrived by sea route in Mumbai and opened fire and bombed attacks which lasted four days. As many as 166 people were killed, including 18 security personnel, and several others were injured.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Akshay tweeted, “It’s been 13 years since the horrific #MumbaiTerrorAttack. Remembering all those who lost their lives and loved ones. My heartfelt tribute to all the bravehearts who sacrificed their lives safeguarding our city.”

Actor Ranvir Shorey wrote, “Never forgive. Never forget.#MumbaiTerrorAttack.” Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar tweeted, “Heartfelt tributes to all the innocent civilians whom we lost in the barbaric 26/11 #MumbaiTerrorAttack and to all our real HEROES who sacrificed their lives.”
Notably, #MumbaiTerrorAttack has been trending on Twitter, since morning, with netizens paying their tributes and remembering Mumbai Attack victims and martyrs.

Not just celebrities from the film industry, eminent political leaders also paid tributes to those who lost their lives in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Union home minister Amit Shah, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Former Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad among others paid their tributes.
