Bollywood Badshah, actor Shah Rukh Khan won hearts with his performance in the 2010 film My Name Is Khan. As the film released on February 12, on Friday, Shah Rukh made a tweet and shared a picture of him as My Name Is Khan completed 11 years since the release date. The actor heaped praises of the team but said that he finds it ‘repetitive’ to celebrate ‘x’ number of years of a film. My Name Is Khan stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in key roles.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, SRK tweeted, “Find celebrating ‘X’ number of yrs of a film on social media repetitive , as its become more like a yearly birthday wish rather than a milestone.” The actor expressed how he feels about celebrating a film’s ‘x’ number of years. He added, “But just saw #11YearsOfMyNameIsKhan and felt like saying, I think everybody involved with the film did a very fine job of it.” Speaking of the picture shared by SRK, in it, he looks charming and handsome. The actor is wearing a blue beanie and grey vest. His classic selfie is unmissable.

Meanwhile, filmmaker-producer Karan Johar also made a post on Instagram. He shared a video of moments from My Name Is Khan and wrote a long caption, celebrating 11 years of the film. Karan thanked his ‘bhai’ Shah Rukh Khan for being the soul of the film and tagged him in the post too. He also thanked Kajol for being an “unbreakable rock” to Rizwan and the audience. KJo finally thanked the entire team and said he will be grateful to each and every one. Directed by filmmaker Karan Johar, the film My Name Is Khan was successful at the box-office. The movie also received great reviews from the critics and audience.
