Known for her exceptional performances across various regional films, Malavika Mohanan has carved her space as a pan-India star. She has garnered immense acclaim for her talent, and versatility, looks and her journey has been incredible. However, Malavika recently revealed an inspiring story about how Bollywood’s perfectionist Aamir Khan played a pivotal role in encouraging her to pursue acting. 

In an interview, she shared that her first interaction with Aamir Khan happened during the shooting of his film Talaash saying, “There was this movie shoot which was being shot for Talaash, so the movie shoot was happening at night because the subject of the film required it, they were shooting somewhere in South Bombay and Aamir Khan was sitting in the car and shot was him.”

The actress further added, “I was right opposite on the road, diagonally opposite, and he was casually looking around in between the shots like 'what's happening, what's going on' and after point he called me and asked what do you do, I was in college and he said you should be an actor and it was out of the blue... there was no leading up to the conversation, he was very observant types and said you should be an actor."

And now the actress has several projects in her kitty, Malavika is set to mark her Telugu debut in The Raja Saab opposite pan-India superstar Prabhas. Directed by Maruthi, the film is touted to be a horror-comedy. She will soon be shooting for a romantic song with Prabhas this month.The Most Desirable Actress Malavika also has the spy-thriller, Sardar 2 alongside Karthi.
