'There Is No Excuse For This' Says Mira Rajput Kapoor As She Shares A Heartbreaking Picture Of A Child With An Oxygen Mask

The Coronavirus situation in India is grim. Everyone is numb listening to stories of people who are severely affected by the virus. The shortage of oxygen cylinders, hospital beds and more added much to the woes of people. Celebrities stepped up to help those in need, or at least use their social media power to share information as much as possible. Amidst this, Shahid Kapoor's wife has expressed disappointment over a picture of a child with an oxygen mask.

Sharing the picture, she wrote, "Breaks my heart. There is no excuse for this." Like the rest, Mira Rajput Kapoor too is doing her best to help those in need. She recently started with a fundraiser Billion Breathe Moment in association with Give India to collect donations that will be further used as COVID aid. As she launched the fundraiser she shared a video with the caption, "Facing one of the most contagious & rapidly spreading waves of the COVID-19 virus – India, our home, our heart – is suffering. Something that we all take for granted is the ability to breathe, access to oxygen. That fundamental right to oxygen is now a privilege for millions, and growing."
