Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor enjoys a huge fanbase online. Currently enjoying the blockbuster success of her film Stree 2, being an avid social media user, she often takes to her official handle to share glimpses of her personal life and professional achievements. The actress recently sat down for a chat with Shubankar Mishra on his YouTube channel where she opened up about her childhood days. She also shares a cute anecdote of Varun Dhawan rejecting her proposal.

Recalling the adorable yet funny incident, Shraddha revealed that she and Varun had accompanied their fathers actor Shakti Kapoor, and filmmaker David Dhawan in a shoot of their film. She recalled how they were very young back then and that she has a tiny crush on the Street Dancer 3D actor. Quoted by India.com, the 37-year-old actress, “Bohot purani kahani hai. Logo ko pata hai ye. Varun ne mera proposal reject kiya tha. It is very funny. Hum humare dads ke shoot pe gaye the. Mujhe bachpan me Varun pe chhota sa crush tha. Hum mountain top pe gaye, waha pe khelte khelte gaye. For the unversed, over the years, Varun and Shraddha have worked together in movies like ABCD 2 and Street Dancer 3D. They went on to make cameo appearances in Bhediya and Stree 2. The movies are a part of Maddock Films’ fantasy horror-comedy universe. 


Talking about Stree 2, the film marks the return of Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor after 6 years. The first film was released in 2018. The film also stars Abhishek Bannerjee, Tamannaah Bhatia, Akshay Kumar, Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, Vijay Raaz, and Flora Saina in pivotal roles. The plot of the film revolves around sarkate ka aatank (the terror of the headless man).
