'Bad Man' Gulshan Grover Is Now Ravan!
Gulshan Grover has a very typical voice and you can identify it any day, any time. Grover has now dubbed for the character of Ravan in an upcoming animation movie
Kunal Kapoor and Jimmy Shergill are all set to play brothers. Before you think of a film starring both of them, let's tell you that they have given voices for the characters of Ram and Lakshman in an animation film called Mahayoddha Rama, directed by Rohit Vaid.
An epic age old story told in a new age manner has Javed Akhtar as the lyrics writer while the music has been composed by (late) Aadesh Shrivastava.
The entire story is from Ravana’s point of view with his 10 heads talking to each other, providing for comic relief through their individual and unique point of view.
These 10 heads portray different characteristics with one being a Ram Bhakt and chanting 'Jai Shri Ram' at every mention of Ram, while another never loses an opportunity to show Lankesh down.
Some of the voices for the heads are given by famous artistes like Gaurav Gera, Roshan Abbas, Ameen Sayani, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Kiku Sharda and Gulshan Grover, the last named's voice having been utilised to the maximum.
The dubbing took place mainly in an Andheri studio.
Talking about his dubbing, Grover told SpotboyE.com, "The film is an experience to remember. Rohit wanted to use the rolling of my eyes and even the turn of my neck, every expression you can say as I deliver the lines. He lit up the place using 12 cameras and placed the microphone right in the
centre."
The film produced by Contiloe Pictures is slated to release on November 4.
