The film ’83 is one of the much-anticipated films of 2021. With the theatres open again, the makers of ’83 have finally decided to release the film. The Ranveer Singh starrer is all set to hit theatres on June 4, 2021. Ranveer Singh made an official announcement related to the release of film ’83. The actor shared the poster of the movie and made the announcement. He revealed that the Kabir Khan directed film will be releasing in five languages in cinemas.

On Instagram, Ranveer Singh shared a fresh poster of the film with the release date. He shared the photo, with the caption, “June 4th, 2021 !!!!  in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. See you in cinemas !!! #thisis83” Ranveer made the post on his Instagram and mentioned that the film is releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages. The poster shared by Ranveer features him, and the other cast of the film.

Meanwhile, apart from Ranveer Singh, the film also stars Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya, Sahil Khattar and Amrita Puri. ’83 is directed and co-produced by Kabir Khan. In the film, Ranveer plays the role of former Indian cricket team skipper Kapil Dev, who was the captain when Team India won its first World Cup in 1983. The film was scheduled for an initial release on April 10, 2020, but it was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
