Do Anjaane (1976)
This was the first movie where the two were paired romantically opposite each other. Rekha plays an ambitious woman who deserts her husband (Amitabh) to become an onscreen diva. A hit at the box-office, the film first showcased their crackling chemistry. This scene is proof enough.



Alaap (1977)
It may not have been a blockbuster but is remembered till date for Big B and Rekha's performances. Even though the film essentially revolved around the father-son relationship, Bachchan and Rekha struck an emotional chord with their love story.
