Airlift – Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3

Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur’s evacuation drama and Tusshar Kapoor and Aftab Shivdasani’s sex comedy will release on the same day -- January 22. While Raja Menon’s Airlift has been creating a lot of buzz courtesy its gritty plot, Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 has the backing of Ekta Kapoor, who is leaving no stone unturned to promote the film.

R Madhavan’s sports drama Saala Khadoos is all set to clash with Sunny Leone’s Mastizaade on January 29. While the sex comedy’s USP is Sunny in a double role, Saala Khadoos is a Rajkumar Hirani production with a superb script. Maddy gave three years of his life to the making this film, which is about a boxing coach.
Fitoor – Sanam Re
Abhishek Gattu Kapoor’s Fitoor, an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations, will release alongside Divya Khosla Kumar’s Sanam Re on February 12. Both being love stories, it’s no wonder they are releasing over the Valentine’s Day weekend. While Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif feature in Fitoor, Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam are starring in Sanam Re.

Emraan Hashmi plays former Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin in this Tony D’Souza-directed biopic, which is slated for a May 13release. The same Friday will see Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirziya hitting the screens as well. There is a lot of buzz around Mehra’s film, as it launches two newcomers -- Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan and yesteryear actress Usha Kiran’s granddaughter Saiyami Kher. Azhar, on the other hand, also stars Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri and Gautam Gulati.
Housefull 3 – Jagga Jasoos

This being Ranbir’s first production venture, one can expect him to go all out promoting it. Also, after the lukewarm response Tamasha received, he has got a lot at stake with this film. On the other hand, Housefull franchise always gets the audience to the ticket windows because of its slapstick comedy.
Raees – Sultan
Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh are coming up with the third installment in the Housefull franchise, which is going to clash with Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif’s detective saga on June 3. While Hrithik will be coming on-screen after almost two years, this will mark Akki’s third release of the year. Hrithik’s collaboration with director Ashutosh Gowariker has produced the superhit Jodhaa Akbar before. On the other hand, Akshay and filmmaker Neeraj Pandey have given blockbusters like Special 26 and Baby.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil – Shivaay

Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, starring Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan, will clash with Ajay Devgn’s directorial venture Shivaay on October 28. While one is a romantic quadrangle, the other is an action adventure film. KJo has tried to work with Ash for the longest time and in that sense, ADHM is a dream come true for him. Ajay too has been tweeting images from the sets of his second directorial, and by the looks of it, it seems grand.
