Hollywood has paid a tribute to Indian mathematical genius S Ramanujan by making a biopic on him. Titled The Man Who Knew Infinity, the film has Dev Patel in the lead.
The story revolves around the life of Srinivasa Ramanujan Iyengar. Born into a poor family in Madras, he earns admittance to Cambridge University during World War I. There he becomes a pioneer in mathematical theories under the guidance of his professor, GH Hardy.
The Man Who Knew Infinity releases April 29.
