The 2-minute-21-second long trailer tells us the story of Naina Sethi played by Taapsee Pannu fighting for justice after being framed in a murder case. Yesterday, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu shared a few posters of the film online and people couldn’t stop praising them. The tag line on the poster read, “Maaf Kar Dena Har Baar Sahi Nahi Hota.”

Interestingly, Malayalam actor Tony Luke will make his Bollywood debut with the Big B and Taapsee starrer. Describing his character in the film, Luke told Mumbai Mirror, “It’s an official adaptation of the Spanish film, The Invisible Guest, and my character epitomises what a human being can do to survive and how he reacts when guilty,” informs Tony who down South has acted in three films, Oozham, Sakhavu and Aadhi. “The idea is not to play the lead but stand out in a film, even if it’s a five-minute role otherwise I have no right to call myself an actor.”

Badla is an official Hindi remake of the Spanish film, The Invisible Guest. Reports were abuzz that Shah Rukh Khan, who’s co-producing the movie, might make a cameo in the movie. Earlier in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, director Sujoy Ghosh had said, “My excitement is doubled now that the film is being produced by SRK. I couldn’t have asked for a better team and now it is time for work.” Badla will hit the screens on March 8, 2019.
