Tiger Shroff's Munna Michael Drops On Day 2; Collects Merely Rs 6.15 Crore At The Box-Office
It’s not good news for Team Munna Michael. The film received a thanda opening on Day 1 and now, the collections have dropped further
Sabbir Khan’s Munna Michael, which stars Tiger Shroff, Nidhhi Agerwal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui failed to register impressive collections on Day 2. Despite releasing in 3000 screens (1.7 times the previous week’s release, Jagga Jasoos) across India, the film dipped and has managed to earn just Rs 6.15 crore on Saturday.

Munna Michael received a positive response from the junta coming out of single screens but critics and trade analysts said that it’s just meant for Tiger and Nawaz’s loyal audience and not everyone will enjoy the film.
Movie buffs spoke highly about Tiger's dance moves and stunts, however, they were vocal about the lack of a storyline. Nawaz's performance was also given a thumbs up, while newbie Nidhhi Agerwal was said to be under-utilized.
The film has been made on a budget of Rs 45 crore. While trade expected an opening of Rs 10 crore, which was said to grow over the weekend, the actual figures are surely disappointing. It will not be an easy task for the film to cover the cost over the coming week.
Munna Michael is Tiger’s 3rd venture with Sabbir Khan after Heropanti and Baaghi. While Heropanti earned Rs 53 crore, Baaghi enjoyed a lifetime run of Rs 77 crore.
Let’s wait to watch if Tiger and Nawaz’s loyal help the film’s collections in the week. Stay hooked to SpotboyE.com for updates.
