Whenever Saif Ali Khan has portrayed the character of a playboy on the big screen, he has always delivered a lot of fun, style and entertainment, be it in Love Aaj Kal, Hum Tum, Kal Ho Na Ho and Cocktail among several others. These films have been time and again watched and loved. Now, after a streak of thrillers and action films, Saif Ali Khan is coming back to this genre with Jawaani Jaaneman, the trailer and songs of which taken over the internet. The film is all set to hit the big screens on January 31, 2020, i.e., tomorrow and with so much buzz, we are hoping it to start with a bang, both BO collection and reviews-wise.

We, at SpotboyE, got in touch with popular trade analyst Girish Johar to know his prediction and views on the first-day box-office collection of Jawaani Jaaneman and he had only positive things to say. As per him, the film will make around Rs 3 to 3.5 crore on its first-day and that Saif Ali Khan will be among one of the main reasons behind pulling audiences to the theatres. Also, Jawaani Jaaneman should work big-time in the metropolitan areas and multiplexes.

Girish said, “If we all see the trailer, as well as the songs, I think they are creating quite a different noise and the buzz is quite positive about the film. And everyone is feeling it's an energetic, youthful film, colourful, vibrant and targeting the youth, metro cities, upmarket. And Saif, in his comfort zone has already been appreciated. He is got a fantastic start in 2020 with Tanhaji and now this (Jawaani Jaaneman). He is on a good high, so, I am expecting a decent start. TAbu also has a very strong fan-following and it's also the launchpad for Alaya F. So, it's looking nice and the buzz is quite positive.”

Upon being asked about the opening-day prediction, Girish added, “I would expect the film, as always I peg it, I would peg it to a Rs 3 to 34.5 crore kind of start then depending upon what the audiences' reactions and feedbacks are, it can go up in the evening or night shows.”

As for the film, it also stars Tabu and marks the big Bollywood debut of Alaya F, daughter of Pooja Bedi. The film has been helmed by Nitin Kakkar and chronicles the life of a casanova, who unexpectedly bumps into his daughter and her mother. Stay glued to this space for Jawaani Jaaneman’s review.
