Baaghi 3 Day 2 Box-Office Collection: Tiger Shroff Starrer Registers Numbers To The Tune Of 16 Cr

After opening on a solid double digit at the box office, Ahmed Khan’s Baaghi 3 registered a slight drop at the ticket windows on day 2. The movie collected Rs 15.5-16 cr on Saturday; a similar scenario was experienced during the release of Baaghi 2 as well

With 4300 screens for its exhibition, Ahmed Khan’s Baaghi 3 opened on an extremely high note, making it the highest opener of 2020. Opening on a double digit of Rs. 17.50 crore, the movie experienced a drop at the box office on its second day, reason outbreak of Coronavirus, which was already speculated in news. The movie experienced a drop of 5% on the weekend. However, there are hopes of the movie picking up on day 5 with Holi falling on Tuesday.

On day 2 as per reports in Boxofficeindia.com, Baaghi 3 collected Rs. 15.5-16 crore at the ticket window.  Thus, making the movie collection stand at Rs. 33.53 crore. So far all the three installment of Baaghi have opened on a high note. Though not dubbed in the South Indian languages, the movie had released in 100 cinemas in Tamil Nadu and 120 cinemas in Kerala.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh taking to his Twitter account also mentioned of its previous installment too registering a decline on its second day.

He tweeted, “#Baaghi3 slows on Day 2... Single screens strong, metro multiplexes ordinary... Should witness growth on Day 3... Day 5 [#Holi] should see substantial footfalls, post noon onwards... Eyes ₹ 52 cr [+/-] weekend... Fri 17.50 cr, Sat 16.03 cr. Total: ₹ 33.53 cr. #India biz,” and “#Baaghi2 Day 2 decline: 18.73% #Baaghi3 Day 2 decline: 8.40%”




As per trade analyst Girish Johar, he had predicted of the movie to open on Rs. 20-22 crore and enjoy a fantastic run at the box office. He said, “I would peg around 20-22 crores to start with and it is a non-holiday. The film is bound to make a fantastic run at the box-office.”

Our chief editor, Vickey Lalwani, rated the film two and half star, explaining his review in one line he wrote, “Tiger Shroff-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Baaghi 3 needed more emotion, it stands diluted with too much action.”
