Vivek Oberoi Opens Up About His Closeness With The PM: "I Have Met Him Numerous Times"
Yesterday Vivek Oberoi's tweet on Aishwarya Rai was a discussion in board rooms, news rooms, clubs and even malls. SEE HIS EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INTERVIEW
"I don't subscribe to fear," says Vivek Oberoi not once but twice in his candid EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW with SpotboyE.com. The interview was done just a day after the Supreme Court had cleared his film PM Narendra Modi and a day before the Election Commission stalled it. Anyway, it's hitting theatres tomorrow. The coast is clear and the time is right for you to hear Vivek rewinding on the offer to play Narendra Modi, how he went about it and why we hardly see him doing movies these days.
Vivek was rather candid and said quite optimistically, "I have stopped subscribing to fear. There is no point in mulling over the past." During the chat, the actor also revealed that he had been offered by as many as 6 directors to play Mr Modi in the past but this one from Sandeep Ssingh and Omung Kumar excited him the most. Obviously, it's not an easy role to play- the diction, body language, prosthetic- and Vivek says he was very careful that he does not end up having done mimicry.
While on Vivek, of course we can't forget mentioning his yesterday's tweet on Aishwarya Rai here- which became the talk of town and still is a subject of discussion. After receiving tremendous flak, Vivek deleted the tweet.
Manoj Joshi plays Amit Shah in the film. Filming began on 27 January 2019 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Some vital scenes in the film chronicling Modi's early life and political journey was filmed in Uttarkashi district. Final schedule of filming was held at Mumbai. Vivek was injured during the shoot while doing a scene in Uttarkashi.
