Mouni Roy is one such actress who has made a successful transition from television to Bollywood. She is currently basking in the success of her latest release ‘Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva’ where she plays antagonist Junoon. Her brilliant performance in Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy drama has left everyone mighty impressed. While the film is receiving a positive response, a certain section of people is targeting Brahmāstra for multiple reasons. Even actress Kangana Ranaut has been launching attacks against the movie since its release.

Now, Mouni has reacted to this negativity around Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer fantasy drama. In an exclusive chat with SpotboyE.com, Roy opened up about getting love and appreciation for her acting chops, people criticizing Brahmāstra, and more. We asked Mouni about Kangana’s negative views on the film. She dodged the question saying let’s not focus on the negativity. The Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actress also asserted that she feels humble and is grateful to fans for their overwhelming love. To note, the Queen actress recently slammed Brahmastra after several reports claimed that Ayan’s fantasy drama has beaten Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files' box office collection. In her Instagram post, Kangana took a dig at filmmaker Karan Johar and asked “Karan kya cheez ho yaar.” Her post read, “Kashmir Files a film made on Hindus genocide also trying to ride on its success, Kashmir Files was made in 10 cr…. and now according to mafia minions Karan Johar film has beaten it brutally… Karan Johar ji aap kya cheeze ho yaar.”

Meanwhile, ‘Brahmāstra’ also starring megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni in prominent roles, has minted Rs. 360 crores worldwide at the box office. The first part of the trilogy was released on 9th September in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
