Veteran Actor Nimu Bhowmik Hospitalised Due to Age-Old Illness
Nimu Bhowmik was earlier also admitted to hospital due to a stomach illness. He is now unable to recognise his family members and is completely on bed rest
Veteran actor Nimu Bhowmik has been admitted to hospital after his health conditions deteriorated. The actor was suffering from age-old illness and is now under observation.
He was earlier also admitted in the hospital for stomach related problems. He is not able to remember his family members.
Nimu Bhowmick was born on November 14, 1935, in Dinajpur, West Bengal. He is an actor, known for Aparajita (1996), Nadir Paare Aamar Bari (2001) and Beadap (1996).
Last month, Ruma Guha Thakurta who was seen Dada Kriti breathed her last. She started her an acting career in 1944 with Amiya Chakrvarty directed ‘Jowar Bhata’ and later became popular with ‘Personal Assistant’, ‘Antony Firingee’, ‘Dadar Kirti’, ‘36 Chowringhee Lane’, and ‘Asha O Bhalobasha’ among others. Mira Nair's ‘The Namesake’ is the last film she worked in.
