Tonic Wraps Up Shooting In Darjeeling, Actor Dev Shares Picture On Twitter

Actor Dev Adhikari is all set to impress his fans with another film ‘Tonic’. The cast of Tonic was busy shooting in Darjeeling for the past few weeks. Dev, the lead actor in the film, recently posted picture on Twitter to announce the wrap of the film shooting.

“N its wrap in Darjeeling...#Tonic,” he tweeted on his official Twitter handle. Debutant Abhijit Sen has directed film Tonic.




Dev will be next seen Sanjhbaati, directed by Saibal Bandyopadhyay and Leena Gangyopadhyay. Sanjhbati is in headlines for its stellar casting. The movie will feature Dev, Soumitra Chatterjee, Paoli Dam and Arpita Chatterjee as the leads.

The first look of the movie was released in June. The social drama marks the first project under the banner of Bengal Talkies and is expected to release during Christmas this year.

Sanjhbati’ movie will showcase relationship from a completely different angle. Dev will play the character of a suburban young man who comes to the city and meets a young girl played by Paoli in unusual circumstances. However, Lily Chakraborty plays the main protagonist in the film. The veteran actress plays the role of an elderly woman who is in the center of the narrative.

In this movie Dev will be seen in completely different avatar. In last few years Dev is trying to balance his career between mainstream and urban content based cinema. Meanwhile, Paoli Dam has already worked with this director duo on their debut film and she is so excited to work with them once again.
