Condemning the mob attack on health workers and doctors in Indore, director Raj Chakraborty demanded strict punishment for the culprits. A video had gone viral on social media in which locals were seen pelting stones on healthcare workers and doctors who had gone there to collect sample of a person who had come in contact with a COVID-19 patient.
Raj Chakraborty took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Bunch of insensible uneducated people! Neither will they improve nor will they let the society improve. Highly condemn this act! I appeal the government to see that the culprits are punished!”

In the video showing, staffs are seen running away from the angry mob who are throwing stones and chasing them. “Locals of Tatpatti Bakhal in Indore pelt stones at health workers who were there to screen people, in wake of #Coronavirus outbreak. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address today urged the countrymen to switch off their lights on April 5 and hold diya, candles, torch or mobile flashlight and show their solidarity in the fight against Coronavirus. The deadly virus has claimed lakhs of lives across the globe.
