As fans went crazy over the first look poster and the first teaser of the ambitious drama, Gumnaami, celebs, too, showered love for the teaser of the film that stars Prosenjit Chatterjee in the lead role. The video was launched on Independence Day on social media. The teaser video was an instant hit online and has already garnered more than 50,000 views on YouTube.

Praising the teaser of the film produced by Karan Johar, director Raj Chakraborty tweeted, “Kaya baat sir @srijitspeaketh @prosenjitbumba it’s outstanding teaser of #Gumnaami. Best wishes.”

The film is based on Gumnaami baba who was assumed to be the legendary freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Baba led the life as Hindu saint in Faizabad in Uttar Pradesh in the 1970s or 80s. Netaji Bose died in a plane crash in 1945 which has been doubted by many.
