Actress cum politician Mimi Chakraborty has extended her helping hand to a labourer Mridul Deb whose video went viral on Janta Curfew. The actress has even promised him that all his essential things will be taken care off.
The whole nation had joined the Janta Curfew on March 22 on Prime Minister’s call. People were asked to stay at home but after 5 o’clock people were seen outside their houses and gathered at tea stalls. Mridul Deb also went outside and had tea. But it was his manner of asking tea made him popular, “Cha khabo na amra? Amra ki khabo na cha [Can't we have tea? Why can't we have tea.”
Talking to Anand Bazaar Patrika, the actress said, “After knowing about his financial situation, all essential things were given to him.” The actress will also sponsor his son’s education.
