Arpita Chatterjee’s hands are full with projects. Her latest film Bohomaan which has been winning hearts of everyone with its story was released last week and now she is again to woo her fans with another film Borunbabur Bondhu. In both the films, there is one connection that is common and that is Soumitra Chatterjee.

Talking to The Times of India, Arpita Chatterjee says, “Working with Soumitra Chatterjee and Madhabi Mukherjee is a lifetime experience.  
 
Borunbabur Bondhu trailer has released. The film is based on Ramapada Chowdhury’s novel Chhad. The film stars Soumitra Chatterjee, Madhabi Mukhopadhyay, Paran Bondopadhyay, Ritwick Chakraborty, Arpita Chatterjee, Sreelekha Mitra, Kaushik Sen, Bidipta Chakraborty in pivotal roles.


Bankrolled by Surinder Films entertainment, the film shows a joint family where Soumitra Chatterjee is playing the role of an elderly man whose wife is bedridden. His children only talk to him when things are necessary which has made him irritated and that’s why he keeps himself isolated from everyone. But then whole family members have gathered to celebrate his birthday and sudden change is making him angry. He is wondering why all these things are happening and that is the crux of the film.
