Do You Know What Role Jisshu Sengupta Is Playing In Remake Of 'Sadak'?
Actor Jisshu Sengupta will be next seen in the remake of Sadak 2. The actor is has recently wrapped up the shooting for the film in Ooty. The film will feature will star Alia and Aditya Roy Kapur in the pivotal character.

In the film, he wil essaying the role of Alia's father and the actor has all good words to say about the actress. Sadak 2 is a remake of the 1991 blockbuster Sadak and the actors will share the screen space with Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt, lead actors of the original movie. The original film was a romantic thriller and revolved around the life of a young man who falls in love with a sex worker. The film is slated to hit the big screens on 25 March, 2020.


Meanwhile, rumours have started that he will be essaying Vidya Balan’s husband role in a biopic based on Shakuntala Devi or human computer.

According to reports, Vidya Balan has been roped in to play the role of math genius Shakuntala Devi and Jisshu will play her on-screen husband Paritosh Banerji who was an IAS officer from Kolkata and was married to Shakuntala. However, they got separated in 1979. The film is directed by Anu Menon. 

Meanwhile, Jisshu U Sengupta’s Bornoporichoy has hit the theaters and is running successfully at all theaters. The film is directed by Mainak Bhaumik.
