Cyclone Amphan: Nusrat Jahan Takes Stock Of Situation In Her Constituency Basirhat
People are also protesting against the government for the restoration of the electricity. The cyclone Amphan has left thousands of people homeless.
Actress cum politician Nusrat Jahan has visited her constituency Barishat after the cyclone Amphan. The actress took the stock of the situation and even met the people. Nusrat shared the pictures on the social handle and even provided all the necessary effort.
“Visited worst-hit areas of my Constituency Basirhat today & met people put up in Shelter Homes at Minakhan & Haroa. We are all together in this. We need to take proper precautions to prevent CORONA & fight this natural disaster caused by Amphan. We shall overcome!,” she wrote on her Instagram handle.
Last week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also conducted an aerial survey of the situation. Navy and Army has been pressed into services in the affected area. People are also protesting against the government for the restoration of the electricity.
On the work front, the actress will be next seen in Dictionary. Directed by Bratya Basu, she will be seen opposite her Asur co-actor Abir Chatterjee. This is Nusrat, who has been recently voted as the most desirable women of 2019, the second film after her marriage. As reported, the film script has completed and it is written by Ujjwal Chattopadhyay. The film will showcase the problems of couples in a distance relationship.
