Churni Ganguly’s Tarikh Wins Best Narrative Feature At Los Angeles Film Awards 2019

Tarikh is directed by Churni Ganguly and the film narrates a story of three individuals: Anirban Gupta, a professor, Ira, Anirban's wife, works as a hotel lobby manager, and Rudrangshu (Rudy), Anirban's childhood friend. This was the second film directed by Ganguly after Nirbashito.
As Churni Ganguly said Tarikh shows the bonding, complex relationship and real and impossible aspirations of people and how all these things have an impact on daily lives.
Meanwhile, the most-awaited tragic love story of the year Parineeta starring Ritwick Chakraborty, Subhashree Ganguly will be releasing on September 6. The story revolves around a gril Mehul played by Subhashree who is in love with her tuition teacher Babai Da played by Ritwick Chakraborty. Mehul’s whole world is around Babai Da but one day her dreams get shattered when Babai commits suicide. What will happen now and how Mehul will cope up with this tragedy? Towards the end there are few glimpses of Adrit Roy and Gaurav Chakrabarty.
