CAA Protests: Actor Riddhi Sen Pens Down Long Message On Facebook
Amid ongoing protest against the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), actor Riddhi Sen has now spoken out and shared his thoughts on social media. He even shared the pictures of the march which took place in Kolkata and Mumbai against the Act. The protest has brought the whole nation together as they demand rollback of the Act.

Riddhi Sen wrote a long note on Facebook urging the people to join the protest. “The photograph of Mumbai and Kolkata , the sight of two of the most peaceful protests in our country in the recent years . A big shout out to the Mumbai and Kolkata police for their support.”

A big shout out to all the protesters in the rest of the country who faced resistance for no valid reason . Every step towards suppression is a step towards making the point more clear , a truth clear as water , as firm as the soil , as divine as the lotus . The significance of the LOTUS in our culture is unique , it’s often said that human life is like a village growing on the petals of a lotus , human life is like a droplet or water , it can slide down any moment from the leaf. It perfectly defines the human condition , even when it’s roots are in the dirtiest waters, it blooms into a beautiful flower . But few people are trying to keep ‘fear’ alive by the symbol of Lotus . Grow some eyesight before growing a flower . Ask yourself ,as Farhan Akhtar beautifully said today , why will so many people gather today ? For what purpose ? Everyone is disillusioned? Why was Ramchandra Guha detained for a peaceful protest ? And those of you who are talking about the destruction of public properties in some other previous protest , ask yourself , why did it happen ?! Who were behind it ?! See Kolkata and Mumbai today , not a sign of violence . And coming to the word public property, Mohammad Minhajuddin, a student of Jamia Milia university , permanently lost one of his eyes , who will pay that back ? Before quarrelling on Facebook take out your brains from the fixed deposit . I am proud of Kolkata and each and every one of us who joined in today.

There are nationwide protests going on against the act which questions their nationality. Security has been beefed up and internet services are also suspended in many places.
