Asur: Actor Jeet Reveals About His Character And Grueling Preparation For The Role
Pavel is directing ‘Asur’ which will feature Jeet, Abir Chatterjee and Nusrat Jahan in the lead role. The film is a tribute to eminent sculptor Ramkinkar Baij and is expected to release by the end of this year
Actor Jeet,
who is already basking in the success of his recent release ‘Panther’, has
started preparation for his next film titles ‘Asur’. Pavel is directing ‘Asur’
which will also feature Jeet, Abir Chatterjee and Nusrat Jahan in the lead
role.
According to
the Times of India, he said that in the film his role required more of mental
preparation than a physical one. “I try to play different characters and adopt
new look for my every film. And I have done same thing for this film too,” he
added.
In the movie,
he will be seen as Kikan who is a talented but weird and irresponsible person
with all sorts of addictions.
The film Asur
is a tribute to eminent sculptor Ramkinkar Baij. Apart from Kolkata, the film
will be shot in Bolpur. The film is expected to release by the end of this
year.
Asur will be Nusrat
Jahan first movie after her marriage. She has even started shooting for the
role. Nusrat is playing the character of a regular woman who is a
non-practising artist.
Meanwhile,
Anshuman Pratyush’s directorial Panther was releasing on August 9. The film
features Jeet, Sraddha Das, Saurav Chakraborty in the lead role. it shows the
story of a brave-heart whose only existence was to exist for his
motherland. The trailer starts with Mumbai 26/11 blasts scene. Some shots
show terrorist activities where we can see Saurav Chakraborty as a terrorist
leader. And then the leading man Jeet is introduced as an undercover agent
Panther. Here we can see Jeet in different looks as his character is using
different disguises to accomplish his mission.
