It may have been almost a year since the release of Bombay Velvet but its failure continues to haunt Anurag Kashyap.
At the trailer launch of Raman Raghav 2.0 this afternoon, the filmmaker was once again grilled about the poor performance of the Ranbir Kapoor-Anushka Sharma starrer.
Anurag gracefully took the blame for Bombay Velvet’s failure.
He said, “I think when a film fails, it is 100% the director’s fault, because he is the only one who has the power to say no. If Bombay Velvet didn’t work, it is entirely my fault.”
