In a candid conversation with the Hindustan Times, the 30-year-old star addressed the circulating reports suggesting that his newly acquired house comes with a hefty price tag of Rs. 11 crores. The comedian-actor categorically dismissed these claims, expressing surprise at how the news of his home purchase leaked online. He further revealed that only a select few were aware of this recent investment, and the unexpected publicity caused significant distress. Bhuvan emphatically stated, "Arre nahi, galat hai, Yes I have got a house, I don’t know how this news got out. I didn’t know. I was so scared because I had not told people in my family as well. They called me after the news got out. I am under fire right now, I don’t know what to tell them!"
However, when discussing the actual purchase, Bhuvan clarified that the reported price of Rs. 11 crores is inaccurate. He emphasized his indifference towards such materialistic considerations, asserting that his longstanding desire has been to independently build a home. The BB Ki Vines star shared, "It is a good feeling. But materialistic things don’t excite me much now. A house is something I always wanted, to build a house on my own. It is a feeling I cannot put in words. It is something I want to live for the next one and a half years, I want to build it. I want to keep it as private as possible."
According to Moneycontrol, Bhuvan Bam recently acquired a bungalow situated in the upscale Greater Kailash area of South Delhi. The property, spanning 2,233 sq ft with a carpet area of 1,937 sq ft, was reported to have been secured for a noteworthy sum. The stamp duty for this acquisition, priced at Rs. 11 crores, was reported to be Rs. 77 lakh. The transaction was purportedly concluded in August 2023, according to the provided reports.
