WHAT! Vijay Deverakonda’s Upcoming Film JGM Shelved Due To Liger FAILURE At Box Office? Charmme Kaur REACTS

Vijay Deverakonda’s most anticipated film ‘Liger’ left audiences and critics quite disappointed as it failed to impress them amid much fanfare. The film was considered a big-time flop at the box office. Soon after its massive failure, Vijay shifted his focus back to South films. There were reports that his upcoming film JGM which is his second collaboration with director Puri Jagannadh and producer Charmme Kaur, has been shelved due to 'Liger' fiasco. Now, Charmme has reacted to it and dismissed such reports.

Charmme took to her social media handles to clear the air and called the rumours of JGM being shelved 'fake'. She wrote, “Rumours rumours rumours! All rumours are fake! Just focusing on the progress of PC .. Meanwhile, RIP rumours !!.” This update marks her return to Twitter after four days. Announcing her sabbatical, the producer said, “Chill guys! Talking about JGM, the film will see the Arjun Reddy actor in the role of a soldier. Sharing his excitement over this project, Vijay said in a statement it is one of the most striking and challenging scripts and that the film is special and it will touch the hearts of Indians.

Meanwhile, ‘Liger’ marked the Bollywood debut of Deverakonda alongside Ananya Panday.  The actor had mentioned that before taking other Hindi films, he would like to see the reaction of the Hindi cinema audience to Liger. And, it seems like Vijay will now take a back seat and will shift all his attention to his South projects.
