Bilal Saeed stirred controversy recently when he abruptly ended his concert at the Punjab Group of Colleges’ Youth Musical Festival in Phalia, Pakistan. In a viral video, the singer is seen passionately performing until he unexpectedly throws a mic into the crowd, causing harm to some spectators. Despite later addressing the incident in a note, criticism arose as netizens noted the absence of an apology for his actions.
After exiting the stage, he left the entire audience, including fellow band members, in astonishment. The singer never reappeared, leading to the eventual cancellation of the concert. Following the video's viral spread, online users criticized the singer for mistreating his fans. On January 27, a day later, Saeed addressed the incident, acknowledging his regret for leaving the stage. In a statement, he emphasized the stage as his sanctuary, where he finds completeness and vitality, pledging that nothing should have interfered with the respect owed to his performance space.

His statement read, "I love my fans and sometimes that love can be overwhelming for both sides. It wasn’t the first time someone was misbehaving in the crowd but it was the first time I gave the wrong reaction! I should have never left the stage." Despite addressing the incident, social media users observed that the singer failed to offer an apology for tossing the microphone and causing harm to members of the audience.
Saeed has garnered popularity with hit tracks like '12 Saal', 'Adhi Adhi Raat', and 'Teri Khair Mangdi'. The latter was featured in the Bollywood film Baar Baar Dekho, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif.
