The controversy between YouTubers Elvish Yadav and Sagar Thakur seems to be escalating quickly. Known with the name Maxtern, the letter took to his official social media handles after the Bigg Boss OTT 2, along with 8-10 men, ambushed and physically assaulted him. CCTV footages of the entire altercation are currently going viral on social media. The incident took place in Gurugram on Friday late night. A FIR has been filed against Yadav under the sections 147 (punishment for rioting), 149 (unlawful assembly), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Tagging the Gurugram Police and Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, a part of his caption on X read, “Why haven't murder charges been included in the FIR? Is this due to the influence of money and support from the state government? Is the Haryana government potentially protecting a criminal? I request @DC_Gurugram @gurgaonpolice @anilvijminister @mlkhattar to register an FIR against Elvish with a non-bailable section for attempt to murder and #ArrestElvishYadav.”
