West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee never ceases to amaze her followers. She has shared a glimpse into her workout routine and the latest clip saw her walking on a treadmill on Sunday.
Like most of us working out on a weekend, she needed an extra dose of motivation and a small, fluffy puppy did the trick. The 68-year-old Trinamool Congress chief required a dash of ‘extra motivation’ for her daily treadmill trek and was joined by a new four-legged family member.
With her latest post, Banerjee introduced her pet dog Milo to Instagram in her viral workout clip and wrote, "Somedays you need some extra motivation!" The post saw the TMC leader holding the puppy in her hand as she walks. While comments have been turned off, the video has been liked by over 15,000 people.
The video features Mamta Banerjee walking the treadmill in her signature white saree as she holds a brown puppy in front of her. While working out, she looks at her ‘smoll motivator’, and there’s no denying the sight is just adorable.
The TMC Chief has always advocated exercise and a healthy lifestyle and in 2019, she even set out on a 10-kilometre-long jog in Darjeeling to create awareness about conservation.
The 68-year-old West Bengal Chief Minister has a career spanning over five decades and has also been a fierce opponent of the BJP. Recently, she slammed the party saying she would be happy if BJP's "downfall" starts with the Karnataka Assembly polls, which will be declared on May 13.
