No one dares to mess with Thalaiva Rajinikanth’s fans for all the obvious reasons. However, it looks like Twitter India just did the impossible. Yes! It all happened after the superstar shared a video in the support of PM Narendra Modi’s move to battle the deadly coronavirus. In the clip, Rajinikanth said how India is nearing the stage 3 (community transmission); however, it can be stopped if all the Indians follow Janta Curfew for 14 hours, as guided by PM Modi. Soon after, the tweet was taken down by because it violated the Twitter guidelines.

This didn’t go down very well with all the Rajinikanth fans, as they bashed the social networking application by trending the hashtag #ShameOnTwitterIndia. As per those fans, Rajinikanth didn’t share any misleading information rather only facts. They wrote how the actor tried to spread awareness for everyone’s good. A fan wrote, “#ShameOnTwitterIndia #Thalaivar @rajinikanth only mentioned that prime minister of India is planning so....so he didn't give wrong info..he said someones plan so it's a true fact irrespective of whether corona can be Stop gng to stage 3 in 12-14hrs.”

He added, “@TwitterIndia could have removed the thalaivar @rajinikanth tweet because of the points on ITALY ppl..tough the fact is true.A whole country ppl will be affected. hence the tweet could be removed #ShameOnTwitterIndia #thalaivar #SuperstarRajinikanth #Rajinikanth #rajini.”
