Recently, Travis Barker was rushed to the hospital hours about his cryptic and concerning tweet. the Blink-182 drummer finally opened up on what exactly happened. The popular musician took to his Instagram to spill the details of his sudden hospitalization which left his fans devastated.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Travis revealed that he suffered from life-threatening pancreatitis that led to excruciating pain. The drummer added that he was grateful for the support he got and that he was feeling much better.
Kourtney, who enjoys close to 190 million followers on Instagram, thanked the doctors, specialists, and nurses for healing her musician husband.
Elaborating on his hospitalization, Travis said, “I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great. But after dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been hospitalized ever since.” The 46-year-old continued, “During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in a very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube.”
He further explained, “This resulted in severe life-threatening pancreatitis”, adding, “I am so very very grateful that with the intensive treatment I am currently much better."

Meanwhile, Kourtney Kardashian, speaking of her husband’s medical condition stated, “Travis and I went in for a routine endoscopy together and he ended up with severe, life-threatening pancreatitis”, said the reality star on Instagram. She added, “I’m so so thankful to our specialists, doctors, and nurses at Cedars Sinai for taking such wonderful care of my husband and me during our stay.”
A few hours prior to getting hospitalized, Travis Barker had tweeted, “God save me," which is also the name of his song with Machine Gun Kelly. The fans on Twitter had then discussed how the timing of the tweet was weird.
