Ravi Shankar Prasad, Minister of Law and Justice, Electronics and Information Technology and Minister Of Communications, visited the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s Patna residence to pay his condolences to the family and offer his prayers to the departed soul. He shared a video and pictures of the same on his Instagram account, praising the actor in his caption. He also mentioned in his post that the actor’s death is a loss to the industry and Sushant was deserving moreover for his brilliant acting skills.
While in the video we saw him offering flowers in front of the actor’s frame, placed at his residence, in the pictures we saw him praying for the late actor and interacting with his father KK Singh and his sister, Neetu Singh. He captioned this post as, "Visited Patna home of Sushant Singh Rajput. Met his family members. Paid my condolences. A super talented actor with great promise had to meet such an unfortunate end. Creative acting in films is left poorer with his sad demise. He had to achieve great heights. He deserved more. .”
The honourable minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad too was born in Patna.
As soon as the news broke of the actor’s death on June 14, 2020, honourable PM of India, Narendra Modi too had paid his last respect to the actor and condolence to his family through his social media account.
The actor died due to suicide after hanging himself at his Bandra residence. Reports suggested of the actor suffering from depression and undergoing treatment for the same, post which he took a drastic step of ending his life.
