It was on the morning of June 14, 2020, that Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. His fans, family, friends were in disbelief, and in the days following his demise, many on social media demanded a CBI inquiry into the actor’s untimely death. Fans suspected foul play, however, the final postmortem report confirmed Sushant died of asphyxia due to hanging. Many people, including celebrities such as Shekhar Suman, Roopa Ganguly are still demanding a CBI probe. Cricketer Manoj Tiwary is also among those wanting a CBI inquiry in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, and he now took to Twitter to air his views about the same.
Manoj Tiwary took to his Twitter and wrote that he has a strong feeling that the ‘culprits’ would be caught on the day of Ram Mandir Bhumi Pujan. The Bhumi Pujan ceremony of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will take place on August 5 and it is an important ritual performed before the construction begins. In Manoj Tiwary’s tweet, he wrote, “Murderers shud realise dat time is running very short 4 them,it’s about time dey al vl get caught. Dey shud themselves come out nd surrender. God is great. I hav a strong feeling dat on d 5th of August,d day of bhoomi pujan of #RamMandir D culprits vl b caught #CBICrucialForSSR.”
Meanwhile, a few days ago, after watching Dil Bechara, the cricketer had tweeted, “Watched #DilBechara yesterday. I believe it was an instant connection with the movie Outstanding display of acting skills by d actors, beautiful movie and a msg for everyone Cried while watching d movie for various reasons. Blockbuster it is”.

Manoj Tiwary had also applauded Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans for participating in the digital protest for justice by joining #Candle4SSR. Many of Sushant’s fans, including Manoj Tiwary, had joined in the peaceful protest by lighting a diya or a candle, and shared images on social media.
