Actress-turned-politician, Smriti Irani has indeed got all the reasons to be on cloud nine as her stepdaughter Shanelle Irani is getting married today. As per the latest reports, Shanelle will be tying the knot with her fiancé Arjun Bhalla on February 9, 2023, in Rajasthan at 500-year-old Khimsar Fort in Nagaur district in Rajasthan. This big-fat shaadi will be a grand and star-studded affair with many eminent politicians and Bollywood A-listers gracing the wedding. 

Shanelle’s wedding festivities are underway and Smriti has already arrived in Rajasthan. For the unversed, the Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi actress is married to her friend Mona Irani’s ex-husband, Zubin Irani. Shanelle is Zubin and Mona's daughter and she shares a great bond with her stepmother Smriti and is also said to be very close to her. In 2021, Smriti Irani announced the engagement of Shanelle and Arjun Bhalla via a post on her Instagram handle. She shared a few mushy pictures where Arjun was seen sitting on one knee to propose to his ladylove. In another candid shot, the bride-to-be flaunted her beautiful engagement ring. Meanwhile, before joining politics, Smriti was a popular TV actress and she appeared in several daily soaps. She rose to fame and became a popular household name after she played the role of Tulsi Virani in Ekta Kapoor's show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The show made her an overnight sensation. Later, she quit Television and joined Politics. Smriti is a Minister in the Union Cabinet of India since May 2014 and is currently administrating the Ministries of Women and Child Development.
