Popular Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead by a group of assailants in the Mansa district of Punjab on May 29, 2022. The singer-politician’s body had 19 bullet injuries and he reportedly died within 15 minutes after he was shot. As today, marks Sidhu’s first death anniversary, we stumbled upon an old video of the singer where he addressed death and said he is not scared of death as he might die any day.

In the old clip, the late actor had said, “I don’t have a specific aim in life. I have been targeted many times. I might die any day but I am not scared of death.” Meanwhile, Sidhu Moosewala is being remembered by his fans, family members, and well-wishers on social media. Prayers were held at his ancestral village Jawahar Ke where his mother Charan Kaur got emotional and broke down in tears. In the video, Charan was seen kneeling down as she bowed, and touched the spot where her son was shot and killed. Many celebrities and fans condoled the sad demise of the Sidhu and paid tribute to the late singer. The post-mortem report of Moosewala had revealed that he died of haemorrhagic shock- caused by firearm injuries just 15 minutes after being shot. The autopsy report also revealed that around two dozen entry and exit bullet wounds were found on Sidhu Moose Wala's body, including one in the skull. Excessive bleeding was also one of the reasons that resulted in his death.
